The Spirit of Christmas

The Spirit of Christmas Christmas is an inherited holiday about a theoretical peace for all of humanity and celebrated in many different ways around the world. For most, it is a joyous festival of light, generosity and goodwill between people. For example; Christmas is a time to celebrate family, friends and traditions. Advent marks the beginning of Christmas when the preparations for Christmas really begins - the festive Menu is planned, “gifts are chosen and wrapped”, carols sung, cards are written and posted and houses decorated. Advent is the beginning of the Church Year for most churches in the Western tradition and is marked by a spirit of expectation, of anticipation, of preparation, and of longing.
